Why book a private day charter

The whole boat, just for you

A day charter from Porto Rotondo is the most beautiful — and most relaxed — way to experience northern Sardinia. Instead of crowded group tours on fixed timetables, you have the entire yacht reserved for your party: you choose where to swim, where to have lunch, and how long to linger in each cove.

Our base in Porto Rotondo is perfectly placed: within an easy cruise you reach the protected waters of the La Maddalena National Park, the glamorous bays of the Costa Smeralda and the wild marine reserve of Tavolara. An experienced local skipper handles everything, so the only thing you have to plan is when to jump in.

Total privacy

Only your group on board — families, friends or couples. Up to 12 guests in complete exclusivity, never shared.

Skipper included

A captain who knows every cove and the day's weather. You relax; the itinerary adapts to the sea and to you.

Tailor-made

Swim stops, snorkelling, lunch in a cove or at a famous seaside restaurant, a sunset aperitif — built around your wishes.

Where you can go

A day across the Costa Smeralda

We tailor the route to the weather and to what you want to see. The most loved itineraries:

La Maddalena

The archipelago's marine park: Spargi and Cala Corsara, Budelli and the Pink Beach, Cala Coticcio (the "Tahiti" of Caprera). Caribbean-like water about an hour away.

Costa Smeralda

From Porto Cervo to Cala di Volpe and Liscia Ruja — the most stylish coves of the coast and the jet-set atmosphere of the Costa Smeralda.

Tavolara

A dramatic mountain-island and marine reserve off Olbia: untouched nature, spectacular seabeds and great snorkelling.

How much does a day charter cost?

From €2,300 in mid season to €3,500 on peak August weekends, skipper included and fuel separate.

How many people can come on board?

Up to 12 guests including crew; comfortable for 8–10.

Do I need a boat licence?

No — the charter is fully skippered. An experienced captain drives the boat; you just enjoy the day.

Where do we depart from?

From Porto Rotondo marina, on the Costa Smeralda in north-east Sardinia.

Can we see the Pink Beach at Budelli?

Yes, from the boat — landing is forbidden to protect it, but we anchor nearby for a swim.

What about lunch and drinks?

A welcome drink is included. Aperitif and catering on board are available on request, or we stop at a cove restaurant.

What happens if the weather is bad?

The skipper adapts the route to find sheltered coves; if conditions are unsafe we reschedule or refund the deposit.

When is the best time to go?

May to October. July–August are peak; June and September offer great weather with lower rates.
